A secondhand book that has been read but is in good condition. No obvious damage to the cover. The dust jacket is included and in good condition (minor scuff marks around the edges). The majority of pages are undamaged, with a faint, minor crease running down the middle of the first 70 pages (only really noticeable the first 10 pages). No tearing, no pencil underlining of text, no highlighting of text, no writing in margins. There are also very small stains on the title page and the page after it. No missing pages.
"While speeding in his car, California wine grower Jason Dark kills a boy. A car thief is arrested and police obtain a confession. Dark, a lawyer by profession, takes the man's defence for free, but will that be sufficient to salvage his conscience?"
